About me

Hello, I’m Emma, a coach and counsellor based in Amstelveen, the Netherlands. Originally from London, I moved here with my family in 2013.

After my children started school, I retrained as a yoga teacher and have been teaching ever since. I love this work and especially enjoy working with clients.

My interest in counselling began while volunteering on a helpline supporting people in emotional distress. This experience, along with the self-awareness focus in yoga, led me to pursue formal training in coaching and counselling.

I completed a two-year Diploma with The Academy for Coaching and Counselling, gaining both knowledge and practical experience. Today, I feel privileged to support clients on their personal growth journey, offering a safe and supportive space to explore thoughts and feelings.

“Emma has a natural gift for empathic conversation and support. I notice a difference in how I approach the challenges I face in daily life. She had a clear message of what she could try and help me achieve my goals. She has been instrumental in my finding and enforcing my boundaries in my work and private life and obtaining a better self image. Through her coaching I was extended the power and support from someone who needs nothing in return, and have learned to choose myself sooner and set healthy boundaries.”

Olivia

“Emma helped me move from feeling like I was still in hiding, being scared to come out – towards finding my feet and standing tall again. It felt like an incredible, well-timed intervention of positivity and encouragement.”

Paula

“I had a counselling period with Emma to help me organise my thoughts after my husband’s death and becoming solo parent to my children. Emma was an attentive and supportive listener and had a gentle, flexible approach to my needs. We used many useful tools and models. I felt seen and heard which gave me a boost to my self-confidence. I benefited greatly from our sessions and was able to gain better self-love and peace of mind.”
